Duties:

  • Examine, assess, diagnose and provide comprehensive medical treatment for patients with arthritis, Crohn’s disease, lupus and other auto-immune disorders.
  • Provide care for patients in Southeastern New Mexico suffering from auto-immune disorders ranging from arthritis to Scleroderma.
  • Provide treatment to enhance day-to-day functionality for patients that lead to improvement in the quality of life and performance of activities of daily living.
  • Using the latest in diagnostic modality, drug therapy, and technology, help patients obtain a higher standard of living.
  • Provide consultation services to other health care professionals.

Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopath (D.O) Degree, completion of Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship, & New Mexico license to practice medicine

Title: Hematology & Oncology Physician

Duties: Diagnose and provide medical treatment for cancer, solid tumors, and benign and malignant blood disorders. On in-patient and out-patient basis, write and administer chemotherapy orders, perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, review smears and refer patients for radiation oncology and surgery services as needed. On an in-patient basis, evaluate oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications, deliver chemo-infusion, and provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals.

Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Degree, completion of Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology-Oncology Fellowship, & New Mexico license to practice medicine

Duties:
– Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
– Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, such as bacterial and viral infections, as well as
chronic diseases and conditions, such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes.
– Prescribing or administering medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to
treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
-Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
-Monitoring patients’ conditions and progress, and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary.
-Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity,
hygiene, and disease prevention.
– Immunizing patients against preventable diseases.
-Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests,
and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.
-Referring patients to other medical specialists, when necessary.
-Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
-Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary.
-Other duties as assigned in accordance with specialty and/or position.

Duties: Diagnose and provide medical treatment Cardiovascular and peripheral artery disease on an in-patient and out-patient basis. Call coverage is 10 days per month for local hospitals. Our out-patient clinic provides state of the art Laboratory, Nuclear Medicine, Treadmill, Echo, and Ultrasound capability.

Requirements: M.D. degree in medicine, completion of 3-year residency in Internal Medicine, completion of 3-year fellowship in Cardiology, one to two-year additional Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and New Mexico license to practice medicine.

Full-time. M-F, 8 am – 5 pm.

On outpatient basis, determine nature and extent of disease or disorder using diagnostic neurological imaging and tests. Prescribe medication and treatments and consult with other health care professionals. Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medicine. Counsel patients on neurological disorders and their background. Manage patient complaint resolution. Participate in educational programs and literature review for professional development.

Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.); three-year residency in neurology; and New Mexico License to practice medicine.

endocrine disorders. Counsel patients on endocrinology disorders and their background. Order
tests and interpret the results of imaging studies. Prescribe and/or administer treatment and
medication. Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication. Order
supportive care services for patients. Liaise with medical professionals in the community and
hospitals. Keep up-to-date with endocrinology developments, treatment, and medication.
Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with specialty and/or position.
